The paid tiers are sold under a commercial license, not open source. This page is a summary; the binding text is the LICENSE file at the root of your ready-native-starter or ready-native-pro repo.

The Free tier - ready-native-free, one fixed stack on a public repo - is MIT: do what you like with it, attribution kept. Nothing below applies to it.

Who may use the codeCopy Anchor Link

A Starter license covers one named individual; a Pro license covers up to 5 developers (employees or contractors) in one company. Either way, one GitHub account gets repo access, and a Pro company shares the code internally with the developers its license covers. Each additional developer or company on a paid tier needs its own license. Get access has the tiers side by side, repos included.

Lifetime updatesCopy Anchor Link

Every paid license is perpetual and includes lifetime updates: every release published to your tier's repo reaches you at no extra cost, for as long as ReadyNative is maintained. Update from upstream shows how to pull one in.

"Lifetime" means the life of the product, not a promise to maintain it forever. If updates ever stop, your license and every version you already received stay yours: keep building, shipping and selling apps with the code for as long as you like.

AllowedCopy Anchor Link

• Build an unlimited number of end products (mobile, web or desktop apps) for yourself, your organisation or your clients, and sell or otherwise monetise them.
• Modify the code freely and combine it with your own.
• Keep private forks of the repository for the projects your license covers.

Not allowedCopy Anchor Link

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense or transfer the starter (source or compiled) other than as embedded in an end product.
• Publish the source, or a substantially similar starter / template / boilerplate, publicly or privately - including on npm or public repositories.
• Share the private repository, or the code itself, with anyone outside the tier's scope.
• Use the code to build a competing product (a starter kit, boilerplate, template, generator or course whose main value is this code).
• Remove copyright, license or attribution notices.

Ownership, warranty, terminationCopy Anchor Link

The code is licensed, not sold: the licensor keeps the rights to the starter, you keep the rights to your end products. It ships as-is with no warranty, liability is capped at what you paid, and the license ends automatically if you breach it (apps already shipped are unaffected).

Third-party packages keep their own licenses. Parts of the tree derive from the MIT-licensed Expo template, and the Expo agent skills in .agents/skills are MIT-licensed too; their notices are kept in LICENSES/.

RefundsCopy Anchor Link

No refunds once you have access to the repository, except where the law requires otherwise. Polar is the merchant of record and handles any refund the law requires; a refunded order loses its repository access. Before you buy, the free version and the module docs show exactly what you get. The Terms have the binding wording.
